Urethane Sheets and Components
Custom and Standard Sheets
DynaThane is a polyurethane, elastomeric, material with outstanding resilience to continuous impact wear. DynaThane has superior cut and abrasion resistance, ability to "self-heal," excellent resistance to oils and solvents, and is lightweight. Industries such as: grain, sand and gravel, crushed stone, coal, gold, silver, copper, and salt mining and processing, are using DynaThane sheet liners for improved wear.

DynaThane is available without a reinforced backing or with three backings: cloth-reinforced, expanded metal reinforced, and solid metal reinforced.

Many durometers (hardness) are available, the standard is 85A. Sheets are available in many different sizes, from the standard 4 ft. x 10 ft. up to 10 ft. wide x 50 ft. plus long (cloth-backed and non-reinforced).

Custom Casted Components
Since DynaThane is produced as a casting, custom shapes are inexpensive to produce when compared to compression, extrusion or injection molded components. One of the many shapes that have been developed over the years is the Treaded Impact Pad. This design allows the bulk material to lodge between the treads. Bulk material impacting on lodged bulk material reduces the overall wear to the chute.

Custom Casted Components
A few other examples of DynaThane products are cast rod, tubing, hydro-cyclones and even street shoes for horses. Mentor can also provide roller/wheel coverings.

Designed to fit specific clssifier models and sizes, DynaThane Classifier shoes offers many advantages over rubber, plastic and high-tempered steel shoes. In Most applications involving extreme cutting abrasion, DynaThane is known to outwear even high-tempered steel by 2.5 to 1. DynaThane eliminates the need for separate right and left hand shoes because of its flexibility. Another great benefit is that these classifier shoes weigh 80% less than steel, thus reducing stress to the classifier flights, shafts, and bearings.

DynaThane Spinners provide high performance, at a low cost and low maintenance. These light-weight, corrosion proof spinners offer many advantages over the conventional steel spinners. Made with flexible and tough abrasion resistant urethane, they give long operational life and are not subject to rusting from moisture and salt.

Fastening Methods
Although there are many ways to fasten DynaThane, several methods are most commonly used: The wedgie bolt, plug-weld (both shown below), and pre-casted stud (not shown).
